The International Woodworking Machinery & Furniture Supply Fair - USA® is one of the world's largest trade show for the furniture manufacturing, architectural woodwork, custom and general woodworking industries - and it's more than woodworking. IWF also meets the needs of the engineered wood product, composite, wood substitute, display and store fixture, plastic fabricating, flooring, surfacing and laminating, and upholstery industries.

IWF 2010 will again attract buying teams from companies of all sizes, who come from more than 90 countries to see the latest technology in machinery, supplies and services available to the marketplace. The largest trade show of its kind in the Western Hemisphere, IWF also includes the well-known Challengers Distinguished Achievement Awards®, a New Product Showcase, a Technical Conference Program and the Design Emphasis 2010 student furniture design awards.

As an exhibitor at IWF you can meet face to face with new and existing customers from around the world, find new prospects and qualified sales leads, and sell your products directly to customers while exhibiting.

The exhibit space rate for IWF 2010 is US$17.05 per square foot for those exhibitors who exhibited in IWF 2008.  For all other contracting exhibitors the space rate is US$18.75 per square foot. Exhibitors using a multi-story exhibit will be charged an additional US$8.53 per square foot for IWF 2008 exhibitors or US$9.38 per square foot for all other exhibitors for the elevated area utilized. (Please note: multi-story exhibits [double-decker displays] are permitted in island exhibit space configurations only.) In addition, a US$150.00 processing fee is due with the return of the exhibit space contract. Each contracted exhibitor receives customer invitations, one full company listing in the Official Fair Directory, one Exhibitor Information Manual, one Promotion and Advertising Guide, standard draped exhibit space background consisting of an 8 foot (2.44 m) high curtain backwall, 3 foot (.91 m) high side rails, and a 7 in. x 44 in. company identification sign with exhibit space number. Note: backwall drape is NOT supplied to island configuration exhibit space.

Discounts will be applied for columns based on actual non-usable square footage.

The following sponsoring Associations may allow a maximum discount of 20% on exhibit space to their members in good standing who meet specific membership requirements. Each association sets its own criteria and discount policy.

4. A maximum discount of 15% will be extended to exhibitors who occupy 3,000 net square feet of space or more. Association and exhibit space discounts are not cumulative.
5. Discounts are applicable on each payment provided payments are postmarked by their due dates. The postmark must be by an official government post office or overnight delivery service, not a company postage meter. Any exhibit space with past due balances beyond 45 days of the specified due date will be subject to a 1.5% monthly late payment charge and cancellation. All exhibit space payments and late fees must be paid prior to installation.

Initial assignment of exhibit space for past IWF exhibitors will be based on a Priority Point System, which is determined by seniority and size of exhibit space. Seniority is calculated by assigning one point for each show that the exhibitor has contracted for space starting with 1970. If the exhibitor has missed two or more shows in a row, all seniority is lost. Size of exhibit space is determined by the amount of square footage that was used during IWF 2008 or IWF 2006 if that was the last show participated in.

Once exhibit space has been contracted, any reduction in space will result in no seniority point being awarded to the Exhibitor's Priority Status for that show.

IWF exhibitors with priority points must submit exhibit space applications by the postmarked deadline date of February 13, 2009, to be assigned in the Priority Group Assignment. The postmark must be by an official government post office or overnight delivery service, not a company postage meter. After this postmark date all applications will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, after exhibitors in the priority group have been assigned.

Exhibits will be limited to those companies or other entities offering machinery, materials, products or services of specific interest to buyers/attendees. Only new machinery may be exhibited. New state of the art technology may be displayed and/or demonstrated on a used machine, as long as the new technology and not the used, refurbished or remanufactured machine is the main focus of the exhibit. Management reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any product for display.

Management reserves the right to reconfigure the floor plan in the best interest of IWF 2010. Changes will be made only if deemed necessary to further the overall interest of the show. The aisle space in the exhibit area is not for sale and cannot be covered, carpeted or otherwise incorporated into an exhibit space.

IMPORTANT: Before selecting your exhibit space, study the floor plan carefully. Read the display regulations, determine the exhibit space configuration that will accommodate your display materials, and select your space.

Multi-story exhibits (double-decker displays) are permitted in island space configurations only and must cover at least 20% of the space. There will be an additional charge of US$8.53 per square foot for IWF 2008 exhibitors or US$9.38 for all other exhibitors for the elevated area utilized. (See the Display Regulations section of the Exhibitor Information Manual for more information.)

Any demonstration or activity that results in obstruction of aisles or prevents ready access to nearby Exhibitor spaces may be suspended for any period specified by Management.

The prescribed floor load limit is 350 p.s.f. in all exhibit halls in Buildings A and B, and C. The prescribed floor load limit in the Concourse levels is 125 p.s.f. In the Concourse levels there is a maximum weight limit of 500 lbs. per piece of equipment.

In all exhibit halls in Buildings A, B and C, the ceiling height is 30 ft. to the bottom of the ceiling truss and 39 ft. to the ceiling between trusses.

If any spraying is planned by an Exhibitor, they must send IWF Show Management the Spraying Request Form found in the Exhibitor Information Manual. This form will be forwarded to the Georgia World Congress Center and Georgia State Fire Marshal for their review. IWF Show Management will inform the exhibitor of the results of the Georgia State Fire Marshals review. If the Georgia State Fire Marshals review requires the exhibitor to provide any other equipment, it will be the responsibility of the exhibitor to provide the items at their own expense.

All Exhibit Hall Buildings A, B and C: Electric power is available to all booths either from the floor ports or overhead.

Standard Power available is:

• 120 Volt AC Single Phase 60 Cycle
• 208 Volt AC Single Phase 60 Cycle
• 208 Volt AC Three Phase 60 Cycle
• 480 Volt AC Single Phase 60 Cycle
• 480 Volt AC Three Phase 60 Cycle

Compressed air, water/drain and gas are available to all booths in all exhibit halls in Buildings A, B, and C.

Building A has seventeen loading docks, building B has thirty-nine loading docks, and building C has thirty-nine loading docks.

Large freight doors are located at each end of each building allowing drive-in access directly onto the exhibit floor. Other loading dock freight doors are 16 ft. (4.88m) high by 20 ft. (6.1m) wide.

Machinery which produces dust, chips, or in any way pollutes the air or creates an accumulation of wood particles MUST HAVE A DUST COLLECTOR ATTACHED AND IN OPERATION.

Any machine or display causing "excessive" dust or an accumulation of wood particles will be prohibited from operation. (See dust collection section of Exhibitors Information Manual for additional details).

Any dust collection piping must be supported from the ground. Additional information regarding dust collection will be available in the Exhibitor Information Manual.

The Georgia World Congress Center and IWF do not provide dust collection systems. It is the responsibility of the exhibitors to provide their own.

Exhibitors are responsible for the removal of large quantities or oversized pieces of waste. (See Excessive Waste section of Exhibitors Information Manual for additional details).

All areas of the show will be assigned specific dates for move-in and move-out.

Dates for move-in at the Georgia World Congress Center will be posted shortly.  Full details will be included in your Exhibitor Information Manual listing your assigned freight move-in / move-out dates.

No signs, lights or display materials of any kind may be hung from the ceiling of the building.
